I'm 17+1 today. I've always been a skinny girl and really tall. This is my first pregnancy, and I figured for sure that I would have a baby bump by now. Sadly it only looks like I've eaten a few too many donuts. I've seen ladies at the doctors office who are right around the same amount of weeks as me, and they are twice as big. I just feel like I'm not normal. Only my close family notices a tiny bit of belly. I hear all these girls on hear going on about how they are feeling there babies kick at or earlier than 17 weeks. Nothing so far for me really. Maybe some questionable movements...I'm not too sure. This morning laying in bed I feel the faintest flutter/vibration/tickly feeling down there. If I really wasn't paying attention I'd never notice when it happens. Because of that, I'm thinking its in my head because I want to feel my little guy so badly. I just don't feel pregnant anymore, in never sick or anything. Idk...I guess I just want to hear this is normal and I'm not alone.

I wouldnt worry about it too much, I'm having twins and felt nothing till 19 weeks!! As for the bump, everyone grows at different paces. I know a girl who was a size 6 (UK size) and didnt start showing till she was 6months and had a healthy baby girl at 7lbs 10oz!!! How she didnt show for that long god knows.

Dont worry!x

I only feel lite kicks/movements, and at 17 weeks I was barely showing. Its first pregnancy, and every woman grows differently. You will wake up one morning and it will just be there! lol

I only started feeling movements at 18 weeks and even then they were exactly what you called them, questionable, like you didnt know if it was your tummy rumbling or if it was a little kick. Don't worry at all, i know some people dont start feeling movement until 22 weeks! and don't complain about not having a bump, i'm 20weeks and hardly have one either, the skinnier people are to start with can sometimes mean your bump takes a little while longer to get there but all babies and bellies will grow at a comfortable rate and when they are ready to do so, perfection cant be rushed! Once you get ur bump you will be wondering why you wished for it lol when you cant even see your own feet, it will all happen in due course and when you do feel that first movement properly, u will defo know what it is. I only just started feeling regular movement at 20weeks so please don't worry it's no good for you or baba, if you wanna chat ur welcome to message me xxx

I feel the same way. I look like I have a little spare tire around my waist. I can still wear the same pants!! I have felt SOME somersaults and flutters, but nothing more. I know what Lully says is true, but I can't help feeling frustrated like you!!

I'm 18+5 and still not feeling "kicks" I have the questionable was that one? but only every few days. And as for showing if you didn't know me I would still be considered skinny, just that tiny bump really low is all I have and not that noticable, however I know baby is ok because when I lay down for a while baby will move up and I can feel (with my hand) where baby is so I know baby is moving but I still can't feel it. And this is my 6th pregnancy, but with my son (my first) I showed at 12 weeks and was feeling kicks by 15 weeks, so when they say every pregnancy is different they mean it!!! lol Can't wait for my gender scan on Thursday, just to see baby for that reassurance! Good luck honey You are definitely not alone!!!
