1st and 21st bdays!!!!

So on the 27th of September.....

I turn 21!!!!!!!!!!



THEN 4 days later, Rory is going to be a whole year old!!! On the 1st of October

Eeee I can't wait! We're going away for 4 days on my birthday then on Rory's birthday we're having a party at OH's dad's place.

Just curious, what did you all do for your LO's first birthdays? See poor Rory has no friends his age lol, so I feel a bit bad that his party is going to be more adult orientated (with champagne etc). Obviously he'll be trying his first cake, and he'll have heaps of prezzies. But still, would be nice if there were other little kids around for him to play with.

What presents did you get for your LO's? OH is getting him a little piano as he loves playing on the big one, so now he can have his own. I haven't decided yet what to get...maybe a rocking horse or something? It's the sort of thing i'd have loved lol.

Exciting!

Firsts birthdays they won't remember so it's really for the adults anyway. I hired the local playgroup for LOs first birthday my mum dad brothers and sisters came and LOs five playmates that I met over the year. I lasted 2 hours we ate food, played etc

For the twins, their birthday is 9 days before Xmas, so they only really had a family party with my sister and her kid etc. When they get a bit older and go to pre-school, we can have a party early in December & invite their friends. Maybe to the local soft play area lol

Present wise, OH & I got them both a little ride on, push-along thing. It's a bit hard to describe. Their father got them Fisher-price playsets. They're really cute & chunky, so good for little hands.
