1st app at specialist

Hi,
not sure if this has been answered anywhere recently (i've not visited for a while) but me and OH have our 1st appointment with the fertility specialist and I just wondered what to expect. Just a chat or tests or ...??? I've already had bloods tested by GP and OH is awaiting results on S test (we will get results at specialist appointment.)

Didn't want to read and run..I have the same thing..I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and wondering what the tests are gonna come back like...

Hey hunnie im in same position got my 1st appmnt at end of month

I've had all bloods done (fine) hubby had SA (could be better) then we met with a fertility doc who has me in for a lap&dye next month to check my tubes are clear and if there's anything blocking
If they are clear then he said the next step is IVF

No clomid, IUI etc first? just wondering . My appointment is this month as well. Do get back to us and let us know how it went.

I was v surprised that he never suggested IUI - in fact i asked the doc about doing it and he said that the success rate was not as good as IVF so why bother! I had the bloods done and they showed that i'm Ovulating so no clomid - i'm not sure also if its an age thing (i'm 34) but i guess whatever gets that bfp the fastests is the way to go!!
