Yeah, it seems dead friendly and that, so thought i would join, I've popped on here for a few advice bits - read through a few threads. So thought I would join up.

Aww thanks guys, yeah, Im sure everything will be fine, like you say after twelve weeks I think I will calm down a little!

Hey Hun I think there is alot of us who feel the same.
This site is a great source for support, but just remember it may seem like there are alot of women who have difficult pregnancies on here, but this is the sort of place they come for advice. Alot of women who have completely natural healthy pregnancies don't need this support.
Just try to relax hunni :) were all here for you x

I found this information online that might help you calm down a little and not worry. I know it helped me.

Early scans

You may be referred for an early scan, before 11 weeks, because of vaginal bleeding or spotting, or possibly because you have had problems in a previous pregnancy. The best time to have a scan is from about 7 weeks’ gestation when it is normally possible to see the baby’s heartbeat.

If the scan picks up a heartbeat and the baby appears to be the right size according to your dates, this can be very reassuring. Research has shown that if you see a heartbeat at 6 weeks of pregnancy, the chances of the pregnancy continuing are 78%. A heartbeat at 8 weeks increases the chance of a continuing pregnancy to 98% and at 10 weeks to 99.4%. So things could still go wrong, but as long as there is a heartbeat, the risk of miscarriage decreases as the weeks go by.

Thank you so much for this lilAries really puts my mind at rest. I had a scan at just over 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat then. Have also been listening with a Doppler since. As I have found the heartbeat after 10 weeks do you think this means I am in the 99.4%?

I sure do. So you only have a .6 percent chance of Miscarrying!!! I know its hard not to worry and trust me you are going to be worrying a lot being a first time mom but I think you are going to be just fine through your pregnancy. In a few week your symptoms should start going away and you can really start to enjoy your pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck. Keep us updated!

Hi and welcome to bnb! Everyone worries in the beginning, in the middle, about labour, about the newborn, starting nursery.....! It's totally normal and by no means indicates anything is wrong. Not long til your scan which will help ease your worries. :)

Awww thanks girlies! Defo puttin my mind at rest! Yeah, i do think that as soon as I see the scan or hear a heart beat I will be more settled! First time nerves I guess!!

congratz on your pregnancy hun! not long now until your scan everything will be fine i am sure!

Hey Danii, I'm in the same position as you, most of my friends are at uni so I'm kind of stuck being the pregnant one all alone. Message me if you wanna chat.

Yep, we all worry.

I am worrying due to a dull twinge that I keep feeling on the lower left of my abdomen. It's not painful at all, but blooming annoying and I am conscious that it's there! Hope it isn't anything to worry about, Haven't had anything all day, but as soon as I sit down and think about it, it's there! It's the downside to PG I suppose. But we are women, we have to complain about something ....right? lol xxx
