1st doctors today!

Hi ladies!

Anybody else have their 1st doctors appt today? Im so nervous and I know I shouldnt be!

Im 5 weeks 4 days today. Anyone know what all they will do today!

at my first appt they usually do labs (bloodwork) and confirm with a pregnancy test. they also do a pap smear and a physical if its been a year since my last. he also went over family medical history. good luck!

With my last they dont do any thing than book you in to see midwife at about 7-8 weeks and did a test and sent me on my way with my preg pack.

I am putting off going this time as they dont do any thng

Are you ladies in Canada? Do they do the same things everywhere?

im in the states, and i live in a small town, so maybe thats why my OB is so involved? the ward where i deliver has 2 delivery rooms and 4 post-partum rooms.....but i love my small town

Im in a smaller town too Im hoping they do a little bit today... Except maybe the pap smear... OUCH!

ouch is right! haha! and especially when everything is all sensitive...blah!
