1st MW appointment :)

just had my first MW appointment this morning! didnt even know she was coming to see me!! iv been waiting for a phone call off her for an appointment but hadnt heard so expected to get a call today as they are in my surgery on thursdays only! but MW called at my house this morning to do forms etc and we got to listen to babys heartbeat!!! so super happy happy today! she says my bump is pretty big already lol! i do feel alot bigger than i was at 19 weeks with leon! also, 20 week scan appointment date is in the post so not long until we find out if bump is pink or blue!! im thinking boy again, the heart beat sounded exactly like leons did! .. we soon will see hope everyones feeling well x

thankyou! i hope so i love little boys and my OH and his brother have 11 months between them and are really close so i hope my son and baby no2 will be the same .. im so excited now!! x

Aww Yeah i'm over the moon i'm having a boy as my first.
It'll be nice if your having a girl though, she'll have a big brother to look after her as she gets older! Keep me posted! x

Boys are so loving, leons a big mummys boy i love it! his first word was mumma! i love him shouting it at me feels amazing i dont really want a girl! OH already has a daughter from a past relationship i think id prefer another boy, me and my mum are so alike we argue because of it lol! we didnt get along very well when i lived at home but now iv moved out and had leon we have a much better relationship, i worry that if i had a daughter we would be the same lol so im fingercrossed that its another boy! youll love having a little man x

Aww yeah i'd love that if Shauny was a mummys boy He seems to prefer OH loads at the moment though, he'll kick loads to OH's voice and hardly at all to mine (then again, he must have enough of hearing my big gob ) Yeah thats how i felt, i did REALLY want a boy. But i'm sure things would be fine if you had a girl you wouldn't neccasrily have the same relationship that you had with your mum. But fingercrossed for another little man for you. And thank you I seriously can't wait

lol when leon was in my tummy he would go crazy but as soon as OH would put his hand to feel or look he would stop!! it was so funny!! this babys exactly the same too hehe!! hes only felt one kick bless him! i love feeling them move around, leon was such a wriggler i dont think he slept for an hour straight he was a right fidgit in my tummy and hes EXACTLY the same now!! hes a little worm, wont keep still for a second and hardly sleeps either lol! he fights so much to go to sleep hes scared he is going to miss something if he goes to sleep in the days lol! such a little character already hes amazing you really will love having a boy .. not long for you either when in november are you due? you all ready? how are you feeling about the birth?xx

Aww that's so cute!! Sounds like he/she is going to take after leon lots!
No, not long at all really, 25th november, but everything thinks i'm going to have him early because theres not been 1 person in my entire family that wasn't early!! Yeah completely ready! So excited, can't wait to have him here. Well nervous about labour obviously but more happy that he'll be here!! Just hope i don't have a really traumatic labour lol How was it with leon? x x

Aww i hope that you go early then! keep up with the family tradition lol, i went early with leon was due on the 27th of december but had him on the 22nd all down to the birthing ball lol! i was bouncing on that watching aload of christmas films all day and that put me in labour, i tried everything to get him out before chirstmas was lucky!! .. the birth wasnt great, hoping for a better birth this time! i wouldnt want to scare you with my birth story lol .. his heartrate was dipping all the time and not recovering quick enough so i had to have leon buy emergancy cesarian, so i wasnt awake having him didnt get to hear his first cry or anythign so was really upset but atleast i had him happy and healthy in the end .. hoping for a natural birth this time around, but cant use the birthing pool because i had a complicated labour which is a shame because the birthing pool was amazing!! are you going to use that or?? xx

Ahh no don't worry don't get scared by birth stories anymore i did in the begginning but the way i see it now, we're all different, and all births are different.. just gotta see how mine goes yeah i want to have a birthing pool, my hospital has 3 birthing pools so if im lucky i should be able to have one hope this baby is easier to have then leon! yeah and ive got a feeling im gonna be doing everything i can to bring on labour once i get to about 38 weeks lol x

thats good thinking! yeah everyone is different, one of my friends just had her baby in 11 minutes!!!!!!! lucky she got the hospital when she did lol!! i couldnt beileve it!! iv just been reading a thread on here about normal births after cesarians and its really frightened me, i really wanted to try a VBAC but now im not so sure! i just want me and my baby to both be safe so i dont know wether to ask for a cesarian again this time! im waiting for a consultant appointment so ill have to discuss it fully with him hopefully ill be a little less worried then .. hope all goes well for you! the birthing pools are a godsend hardly felt contractions in the water but as soon as i got out ... wow! lol xx

And oh my god 11 minutes!!!! That would scare the hell outta me lol!
Yeah ive heard that from loads of people just dont wanna get my hopes up about a pool because knowing my luck none will be available when i go into labour lol

lol ring them up when your in early labour say you really would like a water birth hopefully they will fill it up just in time for you to get there .. i was lucky i went in about 1 in the morning and hardly anyone was on the birthing ward, i didnt even want a water birth but she said ill fill the pool up and you can hop in you should see the pics of me in there lol! i was swimming around listening to my music singing along lol none of the midwifes believed i was in labour lol! gutted i ended up with cesarian but it was the safest way to deliever leon so im over it now .. just fingers crossed that consultant lets me try VBAC this time .. how are you feeling? you doing much with your saturday evening? xx

Feeling good thanks, got bad heartburn tonight, but feeling good. Not alot tonight, boyfriends gone to stay at his mums tonight, need a little break (and i need the bed to myself!!! lol) so just chilling tonight making the most of having me time lol
How about yourself, did you get up to much tonight?
