1st Scan

When did everyone have their first scan? I have been told it wont be until 16 weeks. Is this true? I don't know if I can wait that long

I had my first one at 9w2d. My next is Oct 4th, I will be 18w

I think I may need to talk to my Dr./MW, as to me 16 weeks seems far too long to wait.

I'm almost 7 weeks now.

Well I would call and tell them you want to speak with your doctor, tell him your concerns and see if he will set up a scan. Have you confirmed your pregnancy with your doctor yet?

I have my app. at the end of the week so will get everything sorted then, fingers crossed. Just 16 weeks was what I had heard, thought the wait was quite long so hopefully he can put my mind at ease

Well to confirm the pregnancy they usually do a scan

It is to me also lol. I was worried they wouldnt do a scan when I went to my apt. But they did Also you may get a pap smear.
