1st timer needing advice

Hi all

Was hoping for some advice. Me nad hubby are TTC baby no.1!!! Very exciting. I came off the pill in May and have been regular ever since. However this is the 1st month of actually trying, we have used other protection until now just until my periods got nice and regular. We BD'd 4 days out of 5 when i think i was ovulating. Now i have cramps (more in my right side) am snotty with a sore throat and a bad taste in my mouth, have been getting headaches (but don't feel like i'm getting a cold or flu) and feeling very sick to the point of dry retching on a couple of occassions and gone right off some food. Haven't had any spotting up til now. I know the changes of it happening 1st time are unlikely but just wondering what everyone though? I'm not due on for another week. I know it could all be in my head as i want to be pregnant, hope to god it isn't, can't be going through this every month.

Any advice, opinioons greatly appreciated-thanks!

Hi, I have been trying for over a year and get these symptoms from time to time, I convince myself it could only mean one thing but I think my body is messing with me! (I'm actually starting to think it coincides with possible ovulation...!?) Sorry to be negative but sometimes it's better to be realistic. Good luck though

Definitely not sounding like an idiot! Don't worry about asking questions. Surely that's what we all come here for...?

I've had a month or two of these kind of symptoms when my body really started sorting itself out after I quit my BC (I had a Mirena IUD but still hormone changes, right?) Anyway, that time I wasn't pregnant but you never know. I'd wait until AF is due, if you can, and if she doesn't show up then take a test.
