1st timers welcome!!

Hello! I will be seeing an RE for the first time in November! My husband and I are excited, just don't really know what to expect! We have been TTC for 2 1/2 years and have been on MANY rounds of clomid with no luck! we have been thru 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 miscarriage but we are trusting God that we are going in the right direction to get where we want to be!! WITH A BABY!! I would love to start this thread as help, counsel and support for 1st timers and anyone else who has input! all are welcome!!

Hey, my OH and I have been trying for 3 years and I'm starting my first round of clomid tomorrow. It's good to have other people to talk to who have been in the same position or have experienced what you've been through, you don't feel so loopy lol. Hopefully my faith in God will guide us there too. Babydust & luck to all x

Hey Ladies,

this is my first post in this area of Baby and bump. We have been Lttc for 2 years now and i seen my specilist yestarday and we have went on to the waiting list for IVF! I have unexplained infertility never had a pregnancy, never had clomid or any other assisted conception! So excited that I may be preggers by 2013 (18 month waiting list)!!

Hey nixy!! this is sooo exciting for you!! just KNOWING that no matter what you will be prego! I hope it all works out!! you can totally post here!! I haven't had any treatment yet either....just clomid which didn't do the trick for me! so we are all in this together! it's a 1st for alot of ladies out there!! It's nice to see an end in sight!!

hey there it totally know what you mean!! it is so exciting my mum thinks oh my god and 18 month list but all i can think is that we will have a little baby to take home!!

When do you start your treatment hun? I am going to get a count down ticker set up! lol! its going to be ticking for a while but who cares! Doctors havn't offered me clomid or anything reckon that the IVF is the best route for us. How long have you and your DH been trying for? its such a long journey but its going to be so special when we have our babies in our arms! Maybe even twins!

I will be coming up for my 30th birthday when we start our treatment what a present that will be!!

I'm glad other woman feel the same, excitement at the thought that maybe next year or two years it could lead to a baby. Today was my day of clomid so just at the beginning of the journey, scans next week to see if 50mg is enough. I don't feel so silly now being excited lol. Good luck girls xx

hello!! well....i'm not for sure what treatment we will even be doing yet...we have the initial appointment, then hopefully the doc will tell us what he thinks we should do! i agree with you about the 18months! it seems a little long but when you have been trying for such a long time with no luck...it's like who cares! at least this time I know I will be coming home with a baby!!

Thankyou, think i'll need it. I know what to expect with scan but it's more has the clomid worked, is it the right dose. Feeling impatient for now lol but before I know it friday will be here

I think I am going to do clomid. I am already on 2000 mg metformin. My period are so irregular(never have one unless medically induce) . My gyn would not let me try clomid since my dh sperm is not great. She referred us to the REI. Been ttc Almost 2 years. I hope to get my bfp this year!

I know the feeling of trying and getting nothing every month! but I'm praying that the clomid will be the trick for you!! I know it has worked for so many people! can't wait to see what your REI says!! keep us updated!!
