Hi ladies, I'm about to go through another loss. My hcg levels are dropping, so it's just a waiting game (I'm 4w4d). I had a miscarriage just over a month ago at 6w. Should I wait to try again or will it be okay to try straight away?

This is my third miscarriage, my first one was 4 years ago also at 5 weeks. The very next month I got pregnant with my dd who is 3 now. Not sure what to do.

    Hey Shell

sorry for your losses. I too am just coming off back to back losses. i am going to wait for 1 af. i had a chemical on the 9 of august at about 5 week and got pregnant the very next cycle then had a mmc at 8 weeks (baby was 6.5). It feels right for us feels like a good reset of my body. My doc also suggested 1 cycle.

    good luck.

    No worries :)

It's funny how things workout, I have 2 healthy DS's a 6 yr old and a 15 month old, so I know my body knows what to do :) so we figure a months rest will help. Good luck with your apt in November!

    Hi,

    So sorry about your loss.

Ive had 5 miscarriages and know the pain all too well. Still dont have a baby of my own to hold :(

With all of them, my doc told me to wait at least 2 to 3 cycles to try again.

This time ill be waiting a bit longer and will have more tests done to find a possible cause.

    Hugs to you xx

Is your doctor open to do testing as to why you're miscarrying? I had a m/c in 2010, then I had my son in 2011 and then I had 2 losses back to back within the past year. I went for some testing this summer but everything came back normal and the specialist said I had as good a chance as anyone to have a baby. I am pregnant again and have now passed the milestones of my two last losses.

I think it's worth getting checked out if you can. You do have to wait to TTC a bit (the tests don't work if you're pregnant) as you have to be at least 6 weeks out from your m/c to make sure all the hormones are out of your system.

I'm really sorry about your losses. It truly is so hard to have it happen again.
