2 dpo and pink spotting

I'm pretty sure I ovulated on Friday. Husband and I DTD on Thursday (1/28), and I had some light pink spotting on Friday mid morning. Nothing on Saturday and then at about 630 PM Sunday night, I noticed more light pink blood on my toilet paper after going to the bathroom. This would put me at 2 DPO (I think).

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Such a weird cycle.

Husband and I have a 5 year old son, and are trying for #2.

Just some thoughts...

Are you sure you ovulated? If you didn't ovulate, this could be estrogen breakthrough bleeding (endometrium can't be supported without progesterone from corpus luteum).

If you did ovulate, it could be that your cervix was irritated from sex, you are estrogen dominant, or that you actually ovulated a bit later than you thought (sometimes the dip in hormones causes a little bleeding for some people). Could also be a combo of these.

It has stopped...no blood yesterday or today.

I did make an appoitment withe my midwife for a pap though

The only time I've ever spotted on O day was the cycle when I was pregnant. Can't explain it and it doesn't mean anything for you, but thought I'd share.
