Until yesterday, My dh was laid off of work. Well, he got called back to work and we had to scramble around to get someone to watch lo. Well my Dh's cousin said she can watch Jayla for the two days, but the thing is, they are a hour away:cry:

I have agreed to let her go, but I am absolutely so sad. She is going to be well taken care of, but ive never been away from her. Only 8 hours a day while i've been at work.

Please help me to calm down.

I had to leave my lo a couple of weeks ago as we were at a wedding. He stayed with my parents for 2 days, he was 17 weeks.

It was really hard, i really missed him, and i kept looking at pictures the whole time, but it was fine, and he was fine. I actually enjoyed the break and spending time with hubby. It went quite quick, and he was full of smiles when we picked him up.

You'll both be fine im sure!

:hugs: mama, I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough time.

Truthfully, this is not a bad age to leave your LO. They don't really have a concept of time, so her being separated from you for 48 hours isn't that much different than 8 hours. For you, of course it feels like a lifetime!

I would just take this time and try to get things in order, get a minute to yourself and regroup a bit. That way you can really focus on her after the time apart.

Thanks ladies. My Hubby is saying that it will go by quickly too. But I guess i just am having these thoughts that she will miss me, or she will forget who I am (Being a little crazy, I know) :haha: I'm also thinking like what if they don't hear her crying in the middle of the night if she needs them. Ugh being a mommy is so hard and worrisome.
