2 weeks LATE, BFN tests but lots of symptoms???

I am now a 2 weeks late with lots of symptoms;
light headed, missed period, very bloated, gassy, windy, increase of cerival mucas, sweet smelling urine, enlarged boobs and veiny, bigger nipple area and darker, put 3lbs on, stomach making funny noises, tightening feeling in stomach, very tired....!

now the week around ovulation i went off food, was sick once, felt sick, bloated stomach and weird feeling!

i took a test 5days late and it was Negative but ovulation test positive, how can that be as ive already ovulated! i thought only pregnant women get positive tests when pregnant!?
Does this sound like im pregnant????

i did a test on 5days late which was 2days ago and it was negative! i think i ovulated late, so how many days after ovulation can you test to get a positive????

last time i was preg i didnt get a test until i was 7weeks pregnant then misscarried so im worried, and cant bring myself to do another test because dont want another neg! but i feel pregnant x

I think some ppl say that the HCG doesn't get that strong at 1st?!.....leave it a couple of days and do another one. Hope it goes ok

do you know when it gets stronger??? as i heard that hcg may not flow in large amounts until 4-8weeks is this right????

but i did an ovulation test 6days late and that came back positive?

me to, il retest when im 11days late (6weeks preg) which will be wednesday 8 september.
fingers crossed!!! ive got 4days to wait, i dont think i can wait that long hehe!
Just dnt understand that im getting all these symptoms and increased cm and a positive ovulation test???

im booked in next week, but the receptionist said they are the same, which i think is strange!!
and they wnt do a bllod test until very late x

i think i ovulated tue 17th august because had alot of thick egg whites cm, but had watery 3days before that. (sorry for detail) what you think as i get confused between watery and thick one is fertile and one isnt????

Both watery and eggwhite cm are fertile (eggwhite being the most fertile) Good luck hun!

I heard hcg starts to double about every 24-36 hours after you are officially late for your period. So if you wait a few more days you should be able to get an accurate result.

thanks for the replies, i covered all fertile days then so if im not pregnant il be very very suprised!!!!
As now i have a tightening feeling in my stomach and lower back ach. well its been 3days since i last tested and havent got one at home so il have to wait till i see the nurse on monday! fingers crossed!!!!

hi im the same im 2 weeks and 3 days late but i still havnt had a positive test yet going to wait another 2 weeks before i make an appiontment at docs

Same boat aswell. I am 11 days late wich never ever ever happens and 3 negative results. But I have loads of symptoms. But this happened to my friend she was 3 weeks late and tested and got nothing but then when her period was due again it never happened so she had missed 2 periods and tested again and got a negative result......AGAIN! So she waited another week and went to the doctors for blood to be done and it turned out she was 10 weeks pregnant but never showed up on a HPT. And now she is 5 months gone and expecting a beautiful little boy. So it is possible so I'm waiting to see way happens hope ur ok chick got my fingers crossed for you and for me lol hope we get our BFP's soon all the best xx

Well fingers crossed for you all who are waiting for BFP! its just so so frustrating wanting a positive result and to know your not going mad and imaganing the symptoms!
I took a test today day which makes me 8days late and it was neg, but when i read the back you have to have a min of 25hcg in your urine for it to become positive, so i dont know if thats high or not when only a week late???
ive reloooked in my diary and i think i ovulated 3days later than expected so if thats the case i think im only 5days late!???
i go to the nurse tomorrow in the morning and see what she says! because these symptoms are not what you feel every month! im so windy its unreal and stomach tightning, boobs much biiger and heavier etc
im treating myself as preg so no smoking, drinking, taking folic acid and watch what i eat which i have done allthose things before pregnant! in my last pregnancy i didnt get a positve untill i was 7weeks along but then lost it, so im really wanting to know as i want an early scan!

lets hope we all get a BFP soon, its so disheartening getting all these neg results, when deep down we think we pregnant!

And im getting ovulation tests positive, what does this mean?

well cat, i keep reading your post over again as it gives me some hope! i am just so worried i could cry, as i hope my hcg levels arent too low to detect as i know what that can mean. i lost my first at 6-8 wks but found out at 12week scan so im dreading it happpening again!!
as i did a test today to read as little as 25 hcg and it was negative!
il express this 2moz with the nurse!

Goodluck! I was in those shoes a few weeks ago and realized I never had a AF because my cycle totally changed completely! I went from 28 day cycle to 24 and never had an AF...but my OPKs have showed I O'd soooo goodluck sweetie keep us updated my FX for you!!!
