Head Circumference (hc)~175.1mm
Posterior Ventricle (Vp)~6.2mm
Transcerebellar Diameter (tcd)~ 20.9mm
Cisterna Magna (cm)~ 4.4mm
Abdominal Circumferance (ac)~ 139.4 mm
Femar Length (fl)~ 34.3mm

ive got my scan on wed so il let u know,

all those words look very confusing to me hehe x

Same here..... coming up on Wed. I'll post mine.

Very similar to mine! At the 20 week scan, Femur Length was 39.8mm! Everything else totally normal, just with long legs! At the 27 week scan they were a bit more normal, but still very long!

its all confusing 2me aswell...hoping someone can also tell me wat they mean lol xx

All i can remember without fetching my book is that he was meauring 19+5 days on his legs when my scan was 20+ weeks...He's gonna be short like me lol! Everything else he measured spot on x

i have dug out my scan notes, god it seems like only yesterday but it was back in nov!!!

Biparietal Diameter (bpd)~ 49.0mm
Head Circumference (hc)~ 180.0 mm
Posterior Ventricle (Vp)~ couldnt find it on my notes
Transcerebellar Diameter (tcd)~ couldnt find on my notes
Cisterna Magna (cm)~ couldnt find on my notes
Abdominal Circumferance (ac)~ 155.0 mm
Femar Length (fl)~ 33.0mm

all rest of notes just say 'normal'. although im not sure what the average 20 week measurements should be?

Not sure how accurate it is, but this is the one I use:

thanks, well all looks average apart from the tummy...i think baby has a healthy apetite (sp) already!!!

BPD was 48.33
HC was 180.5
AC was 154.4
FL was 30.38

Those are the only measurements on my results that I can see. Everything for Anatomy was normal, but the spine and the RVOT was not seen on my last ultrasound.

Actually looking at those results I'd be 25 weeks along tomorrow instead of only 23. So I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead right now with a due date of May 12th. See what the next ultrasound says.

I dont have my scan till 12th Feb but its a great thread and intresting to see peoples measurements. Take care :hugs: XX

thats really interesting, mine has small head long legs big tummy!!

BPD = Biparietal Diameter = the diameter of the baby's head.

According to my notes, taken at our 20 week scan when I was 20 wk 4, our measurements are

BPD - 51 mms/ 21wks 2 days
HC - 187 mms/ 20wks 6 days
Femur Length - 34 mms/ 21wks 1 day
Abdo circum - 150 mms/ 20wks
Cerebellum - 21.1 mms (part of brain related to sensory perception)
Ventricles (at atrium) - 6.2 mms (sections of the heart)
Cisterna Magna - 3.6 mms (part of the brain - I think!!!)

My niece before she was born - her legs were 1 week ahead of the rest of her body. They just grow at different rates just like children etc. 2 weeks ahead or behind is normal I hear.

My niece though has not been blessed with long supermodel legs either, she has short little legs now like her father lol.

thanks for sharing ladies :) its really good to see others notes xxxx

Thought I'd do the comparison measurements :) this is 24 weeks 6days

BPD was: 61.67mm
HC was: 233.61mm
AC was: 218.96mm
FL was: 46.29

This time he was measuring almost right on my due date - avg gestational age of 25 weeks 4 days. Guess thats why they go with your original due date eh? :p

I think my hosp must be rubbish because we never get details like that in my notes, If I'm lucky I get a couple of columns filled out and told everything on track for his dates, same with midwife few scribbles if I'm lucky

I don't have as many measurements in my notes as everyone else. Hmm. Anyway, at 20+1 measurements were:

HC: 173.6mm
FL: 30.4mm
Cerebellum: 19.2
(also have ventricles - TA 7.0??)

At 22+1 measurements were:

HC: 200.4mm
FL: 36mm

And thats it! everything else just has a tick next to it, no measurements.
