~2012 TTC on Clomid LET'S BUDDY UP!~

Hey Ladies,
I am being told Clomiphene can give false OPKs. I was also told by some other ladies that OPKs shouldn't be started until 3 days after the last pill of clomid/clomi[hene. I finished my last pill on tuesday april 10th, started OPKs thursday the 12th(2 days after) - friday the 13th - and saturday the 14th - sunday the 15th - and monday the 16 + and tuesday the 17th +. I see a lot of people saying clomid can give false positives but I didn't get a positive til 4 or 5 days later. I think its safe to say I am Ovulating. I pray to god I am really ovulating because i have this light pain in my left ovary.

Hoping you are ovulating! I got a false positive when I was supposed to be actually ovulating the first time I took Clomid and I didn't ovulate at all. Did you ovulate the last round?

Yes i did Ovulate during my first round

Hi ladies. I am CD14 today and I think I am starting to get my ewcm. This means I should expect a positive opk either tomorrow or the following day. Hopefully we will all be very close in cycle days and we can keep each other company during the tww

Hi ladies, how's everyone doing? Who is where in their cycles? My tww is almost over next week. I believe I am 9dpo and this round clomid gave me no symptoms so I guess each cycle is different?

Dreaming-hopefully none of us will have to find out what's after clomid since we will all get our bfp!!!!

I just took my first round of femara and will have a follicle study soon because apparently I am clomid resistant. Also I was given an option of taking a higher dose of clomid with a steroid. There are more options after clomid if your dr is willing to help; I had to change my dr to get further assistance because I cannot afford injectibles at this time. I am on cd 10 and have been bleeding off and on all the 10 days so far, so hoping it won't screw up my follicle study but I have to wait until Monday to get any news. What makes it worse is my SIL is getting induced tomorrow and I'm happy yet wishin it was me. Ugh feeling down lol so hoping femara helps me to at least ovulate

Well, I have one more month of clomid and then my doctor is going to send me to a specialist. So I'm just hoping that it works.

Well I just got AF. So that cycle was 39 days long.

No, I haven't tried Femara or anything else. He is just stuck on Clomid and won't put my dose higher then 100mg, even though I didn't ovulate. This next round will be 9 months of Clomid.

I'm getting so frustrated with him. He didn't monitor me the first 6 months and the last couple of months I've just went for blood work. I have heard you are suppose to go for bloodwork and ultrasounds. I am hoping that if I see a specialist I can get some answers.

We all need to vent at times. I had to switch gynos because my last one only gave me one round of clomid and said I wouldn't ovulate on oral meds. My new doctor is trying every option he can before I have to see injectibles and he's also monitoring me where the other one didn't. I'm glad you are going to see a specialist maybe you'll start getting the answers you deserve!

Thank you! I hope we all get bfps soon; we've all been waiting so long! I just really hope I ovulate this next cycle, that's what I've been waiting for all along. To ovulate is 50% of the fight; so at least if I ovulate I know there will be a chance I can conceive.

I took the first round of clomid end of December 2011 and it worked. Had positive test in January. Then miscarried in February and had to have D&C. . Dr said to wait one cycle and try again. First round of clomid after d&c did not work, got af a week early. Now in the 2WW with 3rd try of clomid. Fingers crossed!

I'm new to this so I'll introduce myself.I'm Christina and I'm 24 my dh is 29 and we've been married for 5 1/2 years.we've been ttc for about a year but not vigorously.Back in Dec I went to a new gyno who was willing to help me!I have been overweight most of my life and back in sep I knew I had to make a change if I wanted a baby.So I started a diet and started exercising and I have lost 112 lbs!!!!!! I have never had "normal" cycles.I would have 1 maybe 2 a year on my own.So i started provera and my dr wanted me to have 3 cycles before I started clomid.Last month I took 50 mg cd 3-7 and had a 21 day blood test and sadly didn't ovulate.So she bumped me up to 100 mg for this month.I took my provera and am now waiting for af to arrive.should have started yesterday or today but no sign yet.today I have been really emotional.I guess just my crazy hormones.I just feel alone.Everyone I know is getting pregnant and I want to be happy for them and I am but there is a tiny part of me that is bitter.Reading all of your posts have helped me a lot today.it's just good to know that your not alone but i wish it wasn't b/c were all having trouble ttc.I'm also taking prenatals,and using preseed.I think I will jump for joy just to ovulate lol.my dr thinks the clomid will work.she thinks I'm just not o'ing.no blockages ect.she said after 6 mo we would do more testing.I just feel like nothing is in my control and that's not a good feeling for me lol I'm kinda ocd about that.good luck to all of you and here's to hoping and praying we get bfp's soon!!!!

Good luck dreaminbaby!!! if this month doesnt work for me, next month will be my last. then i will need to see the doc again for other options. hopefully we get our bfp this month

weird question and I know it will be TMI but has anyone taking clomid 100mg or higher encountered yeast infections around your ovulation time because I have been taking it for 2 months and each time around my ovulation I get hit with a darn yeast infection. I did some research online to see if other woman have had that problem and I notice that they have has anyone on BNB had this happen to them

The one month I did ovulate on 100mg I got bladder infection then yeast infection right after. I think it was around the time of ovulation.
I read on the internet yeast infections can be caused by a change in hormones.

I thought that was it I tried to tell my doctor I never had this problem until I started the 100mg and talk about annoying I still pray that I get my BFP this month
