The doctor said there is nothing to worry about she said usually she wouldn't start worrying unless I am in the 10th percentile but everything from my fundal height to my bbuba is measuring a week behind when the whole time up until now he's been measuring a week ahead. She said we'll keep an eye out to make sure he doesn't fall any further behind but I was really hoping my 20 week scan would give me peace of mind not keep me worried. But other than that he looks healthy as can be!

I had this. My daughter had iugr. Did they mention this to you? Xx

No she just reassured me that she doesn't worry until I drop below the 10th percentile. But it worrys me that in four weeks I've gone from always being 5 days to a week ahead and all of a sudden I'm a week behind...

I had this with my dd and also had iugr. She was measuring small at 20 weeks, but was diagnosed iugr at 28 week scan when she dropped lower and her stomach measured small. I was induced early, but all is well!

My daughter was below the 20th percentile and came out as a tiny baby. She was just small, so this might be the case for you. She was born on 5th percentile and 5lbs 15oz on her due date.

My daughter always measured small. I am only 5'2 I never showed and she came out a happy healthy full term 6 1/2 lb baby

20th percentile is within normal range so I wouldn't worry, there has to be people on the 20th, the 80th etc to make an average. Will they scan you again?

My friend just had her baby who fell into a very low percentile (I can't remember which exactly but I'm sure it was below 20) she monitored with weekly scans towards the end of her pregnancy but baby came naturally 4 days late weighing just 5lb 6oz, the doctors weren't worried in the end they said she was just a tiny baby

My recent 20 week scan all of baby's measurements except width of face were between 10th and 15th centile.

This for me isn't worrying as I'm 5ft 1 and small but also DD1 was small at birth and is petite now. DD2 isn't very big either.

Also at 12 weeks they dated me a week ahead of where I know I ovulated so I am not fussed.

Also someone has to be on that centile, it is within the normal range so for me is fine.

It's just weird to me a suppose because my son was always a bit bigger. He came out at 8lbs 6oz and the doctor told me to expect a 7lb one this time. I worry about everything though. They said that they would keep an eye on me and if my fundal.height showed any signs of slowing down more than they would do an ultrasound sooner but for now they said they'd wait until about 28-30 weeks to do another one. I guess I just need to relax for now. If they had any real concerns they would have had to tell me right? :) just hurts a little more now thinking of my Coworkers telling me I'm so small for how far along I am.

I always have big bumps - measured 4 weeks ahead with my fundal height with DD1! She was 6lb 7oz at birth!

I wouldn't worry hugely about fundal height, it is notoriously inaccurate.
