25 week MW appt - what to expect?

I'm going to my 25 week midwife appointment tomorrow and I'm wondering what to expect from it. I know that I have to take my pee but what else will she do?

It's a really quick job if anything like mine.
She took my bp, dipped the pee with a little paper indicator thing.
Then felt bump for size and listened by LO's heartbeat.
That was it - couldn't have taken 10 mins.
Nothing to worry about anyway

im not having a 25 week appointment? my next one will be 28 weeks. wonder if they will just do the same checks. my last one was 22 weeks and had the usual bp, pee test and checked heartbeat. she also checked were my uterus was.
she said to expect blood to be taken at my 28 week appointment, think thats when they measure your bump too

Yeah just BP, urine, ask a few questions about how you are. Then up on the table to check HB and have a feel. She told me how the baby was lying. The next appt (29 weeks for me) is more bloods and when they properly start to measure the fundal height so she told me.

I haven't seen my midwife since 16 weeks

Something I should chase?

If you haven't got one booked then yes. I was told at my 16 week appt to make the next one at 25 weeks, and at that one to book 29 weeks....etc

If that was directed at me, I have no further appointments until birth as not received any letters etc

that doesnt sound right atall! your supposed to have check ups of your blood pressure and have your urine checked etc. id call the doctors and ask x

To me this is so strange. I guess i'm just happy that they work here like that.

With every appointment they do the urine test, blood pressure and weight. They check on symptoms the last couple of weeks and then I get a scan. They do it every 4 weeks and it doesn't cost me much. I will be going for my next visit when I'm 27 weeks but that is just because I asked to do it then so that OH can come with me now that he is out of country.

We will also go and book my 4D then and I can't wait to go. I guess this is because we have private medical funds and don't go on goverment as they can't really provide good services at the moment and too many babies die each year in state hospital. Quite sad.

Urine check, bp, listen in on baby and measure baby,
i also got all the lab results from all blood test and taped into my notes
