26-28 day cycle - when to dtd?

Hi, I'm a complete novice at TTC, I don't temp or anything so I'm estimating on dates alone. My last cycle (first off bcp) was 26 days, before bcp my cycles were 27/28 days. I'm now on CD9 and we dtd yesterday but won't get a chance now until tomorrow evening because of work schedules. Fertility app thinks I'll O on CD12? Is that going to be OK? I was planning on every other day all month until AF, as my son was conceived freakishly late in my cycle, will that work?

hello from a fellow novice. unlike you, i'm ttc #1.

for a 28 day cycle, i would think cd14 would be O day. i'd dtd starting cd 10, just in case O came earlier. this is just speculation though.

i would suggest using opk or temping. i just started temping this cycle, and it was pretty cool to see my temps rise after ovulation. i used opk too, so i more or less knew if O was about to happen.

Hiya my cycle is normally 27/28 days. We start dtd on day 8 as I have ovulated on cd 10 before n you're better off having little swimmers in there a few days before ovulation. I normally ovulate on cd 13/14 though n I dtd cd 8, 10, 12, 13, 14 n 16. What you're doing is perfect. Best of luck

I have a 26 day cycle and usually O on day 14 but I stopped temping, OH and I would DTD on day 8,10,12,14, and 16 to know we had our bases covered and then whatever day we felt like it
