28 week midwife appt, what to expect?

Hi sorry if this has been asked before, but i have my first midwife appointment tomorrow and have no idea what to expect.

How long will it last and what will happen?

Its been nearly 4 years since i was last 28 weeks pregnant and just cant remember what they do!

Blood Pressure, test urine, listen to heartbeat, 28 week bloods. They SHOULD do your fundal height, but mine was done for the first time at 34 weeks.

I had my bloods taken on Monday so thats that part over with!

I think she'll measure me as my own measurements and my doctors put me quite far ahead of dates, although i know my date are correct so we shall see.

I am kinda looking forward to it this day seemed so far away when the appointment was made!

Yep, like LankyDoodle said- blood pressure, fundal height, test your wee, listen to heartbeat, and have a (VERY) little chat with you to make sure everything's going fine and you're not worried about anything!

I had my 28 week appt this morning.... I was only in there 10 mins and had bloods, urine, bp, fundal height and I was given time/date for antenatal classes to start. That was kind of exciting.
