My LO doesnt "kick" much now, she just moves alot. When I lift my top I can see her moving all around my belly. The only time she really "kicks" is when Im laying on my side in bed or the odd jab.

Im not really worried as She moves constantly, but lately it feels like she is shaking/moving very quickly in my belly.

Is this normal that kicks are more of wriggles under the skin due to lack of space? Its like having an alien in my belly moving all over my belly.

Its normal i think hun. I know im abit further along than you but Ive thought this myself too, though my baby defo has way less room now! :) Mention it to your midwife next time you see her to get some reassurance x x

i seem to be feeling a lot less kicks now and more wriggles i think its like you say baby has less room :)

well im not seeing her for another 5 weeks :S

Im not really scared as long as she keeps moving thats the main thing. Unless shes just having a few lazy days. She still gives me a good few jabs in the ribs in bed and actually kicked OH in the head yesterday morning. Thanks for your reply though hun x

I'm the same too, I'm 29 weeks and nearly all my movements are wiggles and not really kicks. More uncomfortable too! Hope it's normal!

I know its sounds horrible to say it but they can be quite annoying wriggles. I have always loved feeling her move but she just doesnt stop now. I keep panicking as she wriggles really down low and I keep thinking its because im squashing her. She must just be getting comfy x

taught this was ne of my old posts for a sec lol

when i was preg with my son babe... this is exactly what happened me :o
justr as you said more shakey moves and wriggling
he stopped kicked and nudging me
and i used to be so scared .. to feel anything i used to have to lie almost on my belly or lift my top up and watch my bump... could see the movements but wasnt feeling them

i spent EVERY night in L&D wit worry
so much so i knew all nurses on 1st name basis, my chart was constantly left in L&D cus they knew id be up... they had tea and toast on standby for me
scanner ready and my own 2 sets of CTG belts

scan after scan showed baby in diff postions and dos told me that baby can find a spot lye back to back and get very comfortable in there for days and all your movement maybe to the back making you feel less...
i didnt believe it until they scanned me and showed me what they ment..

thats not to say you shudnt get checked out if your worried
i lost my 1st baby at 42wks and all i will say to anyone is trust your institcts
if your worried fgo to hospital.. your NOT wasting there time, your a mum to be , your worried and its your right as a mother to make sure you baby is safe..
they get paid for it babe so dont tink twice if your worried.

in meantime... you do what you feel best
and your lil monkey will be fine hunny.. trust me when bubs comes out it only gets worse the worry .. i didnt belive it until now haha xxx

It's normal to feel more squirming and less kicks as they run out of room, as long as you are still feeling plenty of movement it's fine xxx

MiisDior thanks for your advice. I think LO is laying straight across belly with their back to me, as I can feel their little bum poking out on the side and its quite curved. Im not worried as long as I can still feel the odd jab and wriggle.

If if gets any less though I will get it checked out x
