Hi ladies,

I've only just started using cloth nappies and have a mixture of bambeazies, tots bots and mother-ease, if I remember rightly. He's been doing ok with them but I think I need to get a few more, and preferably find some a little cheaper.

Can anyone recommend cheaper nappies for this size baby (he's got very large thighs, bless him).

Also, I'm finding that none of his trousers fit him now, do I just bite the bullet and get a load of new trousers one size up?

Oh, and lastly, do I need to change the wraps at each nappy change, or can I re-use?

Thanks in advance.

You can re-use wraps if they don't have poo on - just alternate them between changes so they can air.

Bumgenius Flips are quite good value for money as you can buy 3 inserts to 1 wrap and the microfibre inserts are only £3.95 each or nearly £6 for the organic ones which work great over night. Another option is to fill out your stash with a few cheapies either from eBay, Tiny Nippers or similar. The insert that comes with them is usually rubbish but you could boost it with an Easy Peasy hemp booster and it would last a good few hours.

ETA: Have a look in the classifieds section before you buy brand new though!

Good luck!
