Hi ladies

Back in June I had a chemical at around 4wks 5days (hardly's any bleeding and period in July was light), we decided to have a break in July as we were going on holiday.

Gets back on the 11th of August and I got a BFP on the 13th. Everything this time seemed to be different I had stronger symptoms and felt this time would be different.

Over the past few days I've been having niggles not so much pain but more like everything getting used to being pregnant again after so long. Went to bed last night and I had pain in my right side going down over my hip.

Got up to use the toilet and there was a little bit pink blood when I wiped, during the night it was more a reddy brown and then this morning it has turned in to a full blown period with mega cramps.

Can anyone give me any advice please? TIA xx

Hi there - sorry you're going through this. With each of my four chemicals, I would never really get a 'proper' BFP, a faint line would be there but never one that got me really excited (other than the first one of course).

We've all read the statistics on the early MCs and for me I put my down to my age (39) and have sought things to improve my egg quality in my diet (I rattle when I walk now I take so many supplements). Its not going to help you with the pain and disappointment of this one but it really does help to feel like you're doing something. I've just been through another MC, and this time at 8 weeks, which is the furthest I've ever got.

Perhaps its time to see a doctor? They generally want to know you've been trying for a year, or had three MCs before they really want to investigate because it sometimes just takes a while.

Sorry, that's probably not a huge help but my fingers are crossed form you xx

Thank you for replying. I have two boys from a previous relationship and a miscarriage from when I was younger but it's in my notes with loads of question marks. Will this one count or do they all have to be with the same partner.

So sorry for your losses it's awful not knowing why this is happening to us.

Do you mind telling me what your rattling with?? :haha:

Can't get an appointment with a doctor until the 4th of September (30th August with a locum).

Let me see
co-enzyme 10 (2x120mg)
Macca
Vit-C (1000mg)
Omega Fish Oil
Royal Jelly
Wheatgrass tablets
Folic Acid (400mg)
Pregnancy Multivit
L'Arginine

There are a couple of threads about all of these on the TTC boards but I'm most impressed with what I've read about co-enzyme 10, really gives the cells the energy to do what they're suppose to (you see I am very lacking in the science part, but it sounded good when I read it) Eggs actually take 90 days to develop before you ovulate so you have to plan ahead. My doctor said that the fact that I was having such early losses was likely to be egg quality which was more or less confirmed with a 'low reserve' results on my blood work.

Just got to keep trying, its hard though! Hopefully you'll feel like your doctor is on your side xx
