hi we decided to start tryin for a baby a few months ago i got my first positive test the second month of tryin then 5 days later i miscarried.it took about 6 weeks to get my period then i got another positive pregnancy test when i was a day or 2 late ..i miscarried a week later.AGain i waited to get my next period and tried again , i got my positive test on tuesday last week it was very dark. i decided to test again on thurs and the line was fainter i started to get worried and did another test sat and sun and they was very faint i knew what was happening again :nope:i was so upset and i have started bleeding heavily this morning. do you think i need to see my dr now? people keep telling me these are chemical pregnancy and if i didnt keep testing so early i would just think i was late coming on my period  im really worrying now thinkin there maybe something wrong with me .i already have 3 children but this would be mine and my bfs first baby x

I know how you feel. I've had 2 chems this year and possibly a 3rd right now -- got 2 definite lines in a row on 2 FRERs this morning, but they're still very faint, so I can't completely rule out wicked evaps.

Anyway, don't listen to these people. 1 chemical is normal, 2 could be very bad luck, but the chances of getting 3 chemicals through "bad luck" are tiny. 20% of pregnancies are chemical, so 20%*20%*20% = less than 1%. So if you've had 3 chems in a row it's likely there's an issue -- go to the doctor!

You should qualify for and ask for recurrent pregnancy loss testing by now, which most insurance covers. I'm going to go down that route myself.

Sigh -- see, I'm already assuming that I'll be having another chem. I am even going to put $200 non-refundable on a scuba class for next month today, I'm that confident.

thankyou for your reply:flower: its awful isnt it im scared of trying again as the disappointed is hard. ive made an appointment at my drs for weds so will keep u posted ,i really hope this is your month hun and not another chemical pregnancy fingers crossed for u xxx

Hi I'm so sorry for your losses.... This happened to a friend of mine and the Dr suggested waiting 2 full cycles or else 3 months before trying again.....I don't know if that helps..... Have you asked your GP for a referral to a specialist ?

Hello, I just read your message. Sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. I miscarried back in February too.

My sister-in-law who also has three children, miscarried three times but is now enjoying her 4 month-old baby :) I hope the same happens to you. Keep us posted honey!

Thank you! Your children are beautiful.

I try and take gratitude in our ability to conceive easily and get many BFPs.

Here is a blog which will help you out, she has lots of good links, there apparently are other women out there who can conceive easily but not carry: https://recurrentearlymiscarriage.wordpress.com/2010/09/

Sorry for your losses. I am n exactly the same position as you since we started tring for our 3rd in December. 3 chemical pregnancies, a 6 week period and now waiting to see if it sticks again. I visited my doctor or started looking into whether I have an illness, he tested for diabetes, thyroid and my protein reactive c for signs of infection. Good, news or bad news for me is all my tests have come back clear. I am going next Friday for a pelvic scan, don't suppose they will find anything there either. I have started taking a multi vitamin to boost my b vitamins but really do to kow what to do. I only ovulated yesterday it already have the dark feeling that this time won't stick either. I know I should be content with my two boys but it doesn't stop my maternal need inside.

thankyou so much for all your replys ive been to my dr this morning and hes referred me to a gyneacoligist at the hospital next wednesday.. Butterfly ..so sorry to hear you are going through the same thing and i really hope things go ok for you this time:flower::flower:. xxx

So sorry this is happening :( ignore other people, they can be so insensitive! If you wouldn't have tested early then you wouldn't know what was going on with your body so technically it's a 'good' thing that you did.. I'm glad your doctor has referred you, hope you get some answers and your forever baby soon!! :hugs:

On a plus note your LOs are adorable, andd yay to being from Wigan - I'm down the road in Bolton :haha:  xx

Just wanted to add I am in the same boat... had a m/c at 10 weeks, then 3 chemicals followed. I just took a test today at 8dpo and ita positive! I am very cautiously excited...

I had a chemical in early April and got pregnant again 10 days later. That turned out to be a missed miscarriage - I found out at 8 weeks. My doc considers the chemical to be a miscarriage as well. An egg fertilized and something went wrong. However, he also told me that there is no harm in getting pregnant immediately after a chemical. As implantation was not complete, there is no way that it hurt the uterus enough to affect the next pregnancy. After my mmc I did wait for two AFs and am ttc this cycle. Ovulating today actually.

I am glad you are seeing a doc. Hopefully it's just a fluke and you will be fine with the next one!

I have had lots of early m/c's also. My recommendation would be to start taking aspirin as soon as you get your next BFP.
I would also go to your Dr and the can do some blood tests for you to check everything.
Good luck!
