3 month old naps

Oscar has turned into a catnapper! 30 mins max and unless he falls asleep whilst feeding It seems like I spend longer getting him to sleep than he actually spends asleep.

I've tried putting him down for naps in his room but he just cries. He'll sleep in the sling/pram if we're walking but as soon as I stop he wakes up.

I'm very fortunate that he sleeps for about 11 hours at night with te occasional wake up at 3am but I really don't think he's getting enough sleep during the day. He's so grumpy at the moment. He's yawning and rubbing his eyes and making his tired winge but he won't sleep! I'm trying to bounce him in his chair to sleep but he's having none of it.

Any tips? Is this just a phase??

Pretty normal at this age unfortunately

How long is he awake before you attempt to put him down? Will he nap in the pram/carrier/swing?

Mines the same, hardly sleeps in the day but has a good 10/12 hour sleep at night.
I also feel like I spend more time trying getting him sleep than he bloody sleeps. However he's currently coming up to a two hour sleep wooo! Just can never tell how long he's going stay sleep for so don't want do anything incase he wakes

He seems to get tired after been awake for an hour and a half maybe two hours.
I have a swing but he hated it..I might try him in that again. He naps beautifully in the sling when we are out and about! But like I said as soon as we stop he's awake! He's currently napping on me as I fed him and he fell asleep (I don't mind this at all as I get to read my book!) I just wish he'd sleep longer and be less grumpy.

It's good to know its normal though and not something I'm doing wrong!

Snap!! He turned 12 weeks and BAAM 30 min naps started! He was a great napper before that 1.5 to 2 hours. He's now nearly 19 weeks...and is the same. It's driving me insane. I have no nap routine anymore I feel like I spend my days putting him down for naps..the car doesn't always work these days either.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer but just want to reassure you you're not the only one...!!

Nathan feeds 5oz every two hours during the day so he usually sleeps for an hour after every feed xx
After his 6-8pm bottle he usually sleeps until 11pm and has his 5oz bottle and thats him until 06:30am! has another bottle and he usually goes back to sleep until 8am xx
