3 week old with runny poo

hi all

today LO has had about 4 poos already (he only normaly has 2) and they have all been runny. he is formula fed and gets infacol befor each feed. hes happy in himself and is still taking feeds (though hes farting more than normal).
im just wondering if i should worry? and if it maby has something to do with the infacol?
any help would be great.

Sorry, can't really help but i can tell you that my 3 week old son has runny yellow poo as well. I am sure its normal as i just got off the phone with a health nurse and told her about the poo. She didn't say it was not normal. I am breastfeeding though, so i don't knwo what, if any differences there would be.

As long as he is happy in himself and his fontanelle doesn't dip when you rub your hand over the top of his head then there shouldn't be too much cause for concern. A sunken fontanelle could indicate dehydration if he has runny poo.
