3 weeks Behind in Measuring

Was 3 weeks behind last time, but they didn't do a scan.I am going to demand it tomorrow if it is still behind. Anyone else not getting scanned when so behind???

Hi hun, im only getting scanned because my son had iugr but they dont tend to order a scan unless your 4+ weeks out as fh isnt a very reliable measurement. I wouldnt 'demand' a growth scan, but sure ask about it but my friend who is a mw was the one that told me about the 4+ thing

It's normal practice to refer you for a scan if you're measuring 3cm or less on a couple of occasions. These measurements aren't accurate and things such as how baby is laying can affect it x

I have been measuring behind. At 37 I was measuring 34 and my doctor said it was fine. They don't give me numbers anymore, just say I'm measuring fine and baby won't be big.
