3 weeks of sore breasts

Wondering if anyone may know the cause of tender breasts that have lasted 3 weeks?

It is 88 days since the first day of my last period. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests BFN,possible evap line, and a BFN digi.

My breasts will hurt a week before I get my period but they still hurt continuously. They aren't so much sore to touch just when there is even a little bit of pressure on them.

I know this is a broad question, just curious if anyone has had sore breasts last this long.

I'm not sure, but I have heard that it's progesterone that makes breasts hurt.

My breasts have been hurting a lot lately too. I still haven't really had a regular period since quitting nursing my son 3 and a half months ago. I really think my hormones must be out of whack. It's frustrating because I know I am not ovulating so I can't get pregnant. I will check back on here to see if anyone knows what is causing this in us.
