3 Year old birthday present

Hi ladies, just wondering if you all think this is ok for a 3 year olds birthday.

We have went through lots of different options but have decided not to get anything big as his birthday is only 1 and 1/2 months from Christmas and plus he may be starting pre-school the week after his birthday so the excitement of that will over shadow any presents we get.

So this is what we are doing,

Dec and me are going to see Disney on Ice
Dec is taking 6 of his little friends to the cinema
We are going to get him a Chatimal and a light up Alien from Tor Story3
Plus Halloween is 2 days after his birthday and we normally have a small party.

Do you think that is ok for a 3 year old ??

I think its fine for a 3 year old... but as he gets older I think you should concentrate on his birthday as being a seperate celebration. My birthday is only 2 weeks before christmas and it really upset me as a child that I didn't get a special birthday party or any decent pressies as my birthday was so close to christmas. I thought it wasn't fair that kids who had their birthdays in the summer got much better pressies and better birthday parties

Ohhhhhh goodness no, I would never combine Christmas with his birthday The only reason I am weary of doing to much this year is because with him starting Pre-school the excitment of that is going to over-shadow his presents, where as I could keep the bigger presents and let him have then at Christmas The cinema is sort of like his little party, they will have treats, cake and party bags Thanks hun x x

cool, sounds fab! The disney on ice thing sounds amazing! We are going to see postman pat live for Hannahs birthday, she is taking her cousin with her

My cousins birthday is on Christmas eve and she used to get joint Xmas/Birthday cards

Sorry hun he already has walkie talkies Want to throw a few ideas at me for SamSam. Any cartoons or anything he is into ?? It is so hard trying to buy for another child

So you now know I am going to get the noisiest thing I can He has a few little ben10 cars but thats as far as it goes, we havent got round to building his collection yet !!!! lol
