There is hope! I just knew I was broken and would never be able to get pregnant. I had an HCG done on CD 9d (March 12th) to tell me what I already knew: my right tube was blocked from surgeries I had from an ectopic pregnancy 7 years ago, but my left one was ok. I went to have lab work done on CD 22 at which time my OBGYN talked about sending me to a FS. I went home and cried. The last thing I wanted was to be sent to a specialist. I didn't want to believe I couldn't get pregnant.
BUT...the day before my period was due I stopped at the dollar store and picked up a few pregnancy tests on my way home from work. I took one as soon as I got home, and since nothing showed up right away I figured it was another negative and forgot about it. Three hours later I went to the bathroom and there was a second line. It was clear and had color to it, but since it had been so long I figured it was an evap line anyway. The next morning I took another one and a second line showed up in the time frame! I've taken three different brands so far just to be sure. I think the HCG helped clear me out. Now I have an appt this week to rule out another ectopic, which i don't think it is since I'm not beeding this time. I have a good feeing about this one.
I moved to TX from WI last year. My parents know we have been having trouble conceiving. They are coming to visit for easter and I have an easter egg for both of them. There's a pacifier in each one with a little strip of paper that says "Coming December 8th". I can't wait to see their reactions! Especially since my sister told me she's pregnant too! About two weeks ahead of me.
