30 degrees C pool - what should a 5 month old wear?

Hey,
Our local pool has a learner pool for babies and toddlers which is kept at between 30 and 31 degrees celsius. What should our 5 month old be wearing to keep him warm? And how long can he stay in realistically - 30 mins max?

You can get baby wet suits- I bought one online from Two Bare Feet and it was under £15 with delivery- but Robyn outgrew hers around 5 months and she was fine in the pool without it (I don't know if that's because 5 months olds don't need a wetsuit, or if it's because Robyn was used to it by then, though!)

make sure you get neoprene rather than just a wetsuit thats made of swimming costume material. My Lo is far too cold without it as our swimming class is half hour long (she's a year old) x

Do you put anything underneath those (apart from a nappy!!) ? Like a baby rash vest to stop rubbing?

I put a swimming costume on her under it although it doesnt seem to rub anyway. The little boys that go to the class with her wear those little surfer dude suits under it (the ones with the short arms and legs) . x
