31 weeks severe lower back ache?

Hi all,

I'm 31 weeks and last night i got severe sudden lower back ache with little twinges in my back. I had a bath which didn't help and so I went to bed. Had the constant ache for around 6 hours till i went to sleep.

Backs felt a little uncomfortable today but this evening suddenly got severe lower back pain again along with 5 minutes of a very heavy pressure feeling down there. I've had no pains in my stomach and just wondering if this is an indication that labor near? Its my second pregnancy

Very possible, if it's severe I would go in.
