Heres our list. These are the only names we agree on for our little boy and to be honest we dont love any of them, but they are the only ones that we both kinda agree on. We've been through every (and i mean every) naming website available and books galore. its so hard to find a boys name :(

Jack
Landon
Emersan

Please give me your thoughts. Im leaning towards Jack, purely because its a 'normal, popular, traditional' name, that wont date

Jack is great but very common - it's likely he'll go to primary school with 5 other 'Jack's, high school with 7 more and work with atleast 3, hehe. If that's not something that'll bother you then go for it! I love Emersan, but spelled Emerson. I think that lends it a more manly tone. :) Not so sure on Landon...
Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel!!! My OH and I can't settle on a name at all. People keep telling me to not look at one name, but look at both the first and middle name together. If you both like those names (but not love them), try sounding them out loud with another name for the middle name and see what comes up.

I'll give you the list of names that I currently have for our little boy.

Adam
Alex/Alexander
Andre
Anthony
Austin
Brennan
Brody
Caelum (pronounced the same as Callum, but has a different meaning "stars in heaven")
Cody
Daniel
David
Dean
Derek
Duncan
Emmett
Eric
Evan
Jasper
Joseph
Joshua
Kieran
Lawrence
Lee
Logan
Lucas
Mario
Nicholas
Noah
Owen
Patrick
Ryan
Scott
Shane
Sheldon
Steven
Travis
Tristen
Troy
Tyson
Zachary

For a little while, my OH agreed on the name "Evan Christopher" but then changed his mind because he didn't want to give his son his name, even as a middle name. But I still love the sound of it.

Thats my concerns that there will be soo many in his class etc :( I think your right about the 'o' instead of the 'a' makes it look more male. Thanks!!! :flower:

JayeD: Ive mentioned all them to him in the past at some point and he only remotely liked Adam. I think its him thats more fussy than me! :( you have somelovely names there :)

Well now if only my OH would agree with me. hehe

Try throwing a couple names together and see how they sound. If you like the name Jack, why not try Jackson? That's becoming a popular boys name.

Jackson Landon
Landon Jackson
Emerson Jackson

I wouldn't do Emerson Jackson, But Emerson Jack is great! (Depending on last name of course) EJ for a nickname, too cute!

I like Jack or Jackson. What about Rowan or Roman. Levi or James?

I really like Jack but it is quite common now. I wouldnt let that stop me calling my baby it though if I really liked it.

We had no name for our lo when he was born, he was a week old b4 he had a name!

I liked Theo when he was born but OH wasn't keen, OH liked sebastian but he didn't look like a sebastian, we liked Elliott a few others. We eventually decided but took ages as we got readmitted to hospital.

I would agree with others that Jack is a very popular name, having gone to school with 2 other girls of the same name & it driving me nuts I avoided any name in top 10 list.

TBH tho it depends on how u feel about it, like others have said maybe use that as a middle name.

i like jackson OH doesn't :(

caroline: Theo was the name i originally anted but again he said definately not.

I think were going with either Jack William or Landon James :) feels good to have at least 2 names we like. Thankyou to the PP ho mentioned about thinking of the first AND middle name. It helped alot :)

I like Landon James.

We went with Elliott Theodore Sebastian

I like Landon James.

We went with Elliott Theodore Sebastian

That is a beautiful name. Hopefully ill get there in the end. I dont think we will choose a name until we actually see him, then we might decide there and then which name suits him more :)

Some other names i love: Noah, Riley, Casey, Cameron, Carson, Liam, Logan, Kyler, Rocco, Austyn, Brandon, Tyler
