weeeelllll, that was fun! Fell over in the garden and landed on the side of my bump, I'm RhNeg so went up to L&D triage. Stuck on CTG and I started feeling bad tightening and pain...MW's came to check and started whispering about contractions....apparently they were 2 mins apart and moderate!!! Jeez!

Got taken to transition ward on L&D and had a swab test to see if labour had begun and luckily it was negative and my cervix was closed. Contractions eventually wore off and was kept on ante natal overnight for observation.

Had a scan and he is head down (so glad as I thought he was transverse) and he has put on exactly 3lb in 4 and a half weeks! He is now 5lb 10oz and they are repeating the GTT which was fine before as I'm measuring 36 weeks.

Was bored out of my brain and fed up and had no sleep due to labour kicking off for the induced mums to be...which made me insanely jealous lol! BUT...my experience up at Queens was so positive that I am no longer anxious to deliver there. (they have been under the QCC and threatened with closure) The MW's and care I received was amazing.

Anyway, I'm home now and wondering what the likelihood is of me going into labour before 40 weeks if I'm already getting contractions and when they are not real contractions they are strong and painful BH??

Glad all is OK hun... and you and LO are both good and back at home. Not sure about when you'd go into labor... just really depends. Ya never know though?

Good sign LO is head down and your body is practicing with BH etc...

Best of luck!!!
