35+1 bloody show!

I just had a bloody show! A load of clear mucus streaked with blood, right?
Called up the hospital mainly because I thought I may need anti-D shot. They didn't seem too worried and said only to call back if I start getting regular pains or the bleeding gets heavy. Feel a bit backachey and ever so slightly crampy but that's it. I've had far worse pains on other days!
I guess bloody shows can amount to nothing....hmmm bit scary when I've conditioned myself to not want blood coming from there.

Squiggle is moving fine and I just checked him on the Doppler and he sounds fine. I've not had sex or internal exam or been doing anything strenuous today so this is just odd. Guess I will just wait and see.

I'd be interested to hear anyones experience of such things?

you can have a show with or without blood weeks before labour and doesnt mean anything wrong ... if the hosp isnt worried then you shouldnt worry my friend lost her plug and her waters didnt go for nearly 5 weeks after so try not to worry xx

Your plug can regenerate so don't worry, phone them back if you start to get other labour symptoms though xxx

I lost my plug at around 37 weeks and had to be induced at 40+12!

hopefully your plug will re form and your little bundle of joy will hold on for a few more weeks x

Thanks girls...I'm not too worried, just surprised you know? Knowing my luck I will have all these signs for weeks and weeks and still go over.
