Lol seems weird that i was ready for the shopping part n now its time i don't want to..lol the joys of pregnancy

Hiya!

I'm 35 weeks today (due 27th march)! Nursery is ready but I am struggling to get the motivation to pack my hospital bag. Think it's because last time I had a home birth so didn't put much effort into it but this time I've got to really 'think' about it!

Really struggling with sleep at the mo. Had only managed 3 hrs by 4am this morning :nope:

Look forward to chatting to the other 35 weekers during our last few weeks xx

My edd is 3/26, but I have an unofficial date of 3/20 for a soft induction. My mw has agreed to bring me in & break my water to get things started. This is baby #7 for me, so it makes sense to have a more controlled delivery if we can. First of all I live 45 minutes from the hospital - I need to arrange child care & all that. My last labor contractions started around 2:30, and she was born at 5:04. I'm afraid I won't make it to the hospital this time, lol. Anyway I have crippling spd this pregnancy, so it has been very difficult to get around, much less care for 6 other children. I am managing ok but most nights I can't walk at all anymore. This has made it difficult to get things done - but really there isn't much to do. Clothes are washed, I have bought diapers & the other odds & ends I might need. I need to put the car seat in but it feels a little early for that still. Hmmm, I have mostly packed my bag.
I have been having quite a few bhs in the evenings. I am tired of getting up at night to pee! Ok, I'm really just tired. :haha: Having a bit of anxiety about recovery after baby. It gets harder and harder because there is really no rest for me with such a large family. Oh and I am planning another unmedicated birth, but my first water birth :flower:

LuvallmyH, I'm hoping for a water birth this time too. Tried for one during my last delivery but baby was big at 10lb 11oz so had to get out of pool as his head then shoulders were stuck

I labored in the tub with my last baby & had to get out to deliver because we bank cord blood & they said you can't do both. We are not doing the cord blood this time. That's a big baby! My biggest 2 were both 9lb 7oz & I thought that was big! Good luck!

Lol wow id be panicking by now if I had nothing ready but all will fall into place I'm sure! I'm pretty much 35wks and I've had a really good pregnancy so far. This week I've started to notice pains in my hips on and off...but something had to give at some point. It's manageable. I don't think I've experience a braxton hicks episode at all. I leave work next week (bang on 36wks) really happy to be doing so and look forward to awaiting his arrival!

I'm due 28th March. Big now - measuring full term, so having a diabetes test tomorrow and seeing the consultant. Had a really great pregnancy up to now, but SPD, swelling, piles (!), heartburn, feeling generally crap is just about taking over!

I have one week left in work and then just waiting for little one. We've moved our eldest into the spare room, and plan on putting new baby in with our youngest who is 16 months. (Once she is ready to leave our room of course.)

I'm scared, anxious, nervous about labour even though it's my third (and last!) and I've still not fully packed my hospital bag!

Nice to read everyone else's updates being due around a similar time. Hope all goes well for everyone on the thread xxx

hiya i'm 35 and 3 days. also been getting a lot of braxton hicks, some days i get them more then others and have noticed they seemed to be getting tighter and tighter, heartburn is getting worse also, i'm finding i'm getting them most nights.
i have pretty much everything i need for the first few weeks, he'll be in a moses bakets for the first few months so don't need to get a cotbed just yet. got a little left to put in my hospital bag and have a few more baby bits to wash then i'm all sorted.

35 weeks and 4 days today. I'm going to start getting my things together for staying at the hospital this weekend. Am feeling I'm on the home stretch! Growth scan this afternoon and next week will be weekly ob appointments !

I'm 35+1. Finally been booked for my risk assessment to see if I can give birth at the midwife led unit. Had a relatively nice pregnancy tbh, hoping the final few weeks don't prove me wrong!

I'm 35 weeks today due 28th march. Had a easy pregnancy except for mild spd and a few breathing issues. Baby measuring average each time. I finish work a week tomorrow. Can't wait to meet my little baby now. My cm has increased. My toilet trips are ALOT. About 5 times a night!!! I'm hoping for a water birth and this is my first!!! Nursery all sorted. Hospital bag is almost sorted!!! Eeeek!! To be fare I've really enjoyed being pregnant except the worry something will go wrong!! I'll miss my bump :(

Hey ladies I'm due 27th march and having a girl :) had a very on off pregnancy, I'm high risk of getting pre eclampsia so being monitored every 2 weeks and got my last scan 28th when I will be 36 weeks, at the moment everything is fine though and hope it stays that way, baby girls very active these past few days, and been having loads of tightnings in my bump which I'm guessing is BH, never had them with my son so kinda took me by surprise lol I've had trouble with spd too but the past few days its seemed to improve? I'm guessing our baby girls engaged as I have a lot of pressure down below too, be lovely to wait out these last few weeks with you all x

Thank you! Hoping I get the birth I want this time albeit at the hospital...

I'm 35 weeks, 36 on Monday. I'm due on the 25th March. Having to go into hospital tomorrow for removal of cervical stitch! I'm so tired, don't know if it's just the pregnancy or having to look after a 1 year old and 2 year old aswell!

Awww ladies.. our poor bodies go through so much... but its all worth it in the end.. still experiencing the same symptoms ... plus i have noticed mood swings and insomnia trying to sneak its head in... ugh! I'm just tired ..lol I'm scheduled for GBS test Fri .. then weekly appts. lookin forward to those.. i do plan on getting baby things and starting hospital bag.. i feel soooo behind ..!! Any news from you ladies?? :)

Definitely felt an increase in the hormonal mood swings and insomnia in the last two weeks! Worrying a little over my risk assessment- the only thing that could stop be birthing where I want to is high bmi, but the consultant has said it hasn't caused any problems at all... Hopefully the midwives will agree! Hospital bag is almost done- feels like I should have much more in it though! And other than actually putting the furniture up (hubby is having a 'man baby shower' where all the furniture will be assembled in one day!) I think we are pretty ready...
