Hello everyone,

8 almost 9 years ago this website gave me the love and encouragement to have my daughter. I am newly remarried. My husband has been through chemo a couple of times, but we're prayerful that God will bless us a second time for me, first time for him. Any advice/new things, as of late that I should know. Possibly looking for a buddy, too. :)

Good luck! Sending prayers that things go smooth. Honestly, I would start with an ob appt. to look over things and ask for bloodwork to check hormone levels. If your pcos is throwing them off you can treat that right off the bat. Because your husband has been through chemo I think he should have a physical and a sperm analysis to make sure he has healthy swimmers. It’s always good to have an idea of what your dealing with right away so you can fix any problems they find or have peace of mind that everything is ok.

We did ask the doctor about a sperm analysis, but he won't agree until it's been more than 6 months of trying. Thank you so much. :)

I have pcos and ttc no 2... my son is 9 now. Also with a new partner and ttc. So just thought I’d say hi x

Would his regular doctor do one? I would think him going through chemo they would bypass the 6 month thing. If you’re able to do a regular on check up with blood work, that would be a good start. PCOS can be manageable, but it can throw hormones to off. They usually won’t deny general testing. I actually found a pcos specialist who also did fertility treatments. They did a full work up and were willing to do a pcos monitored cycle with femara that was covered by insurance, but I got pregnant before I went as I was already taking femara it it bout being monitored. I had to call around a lot and do some research.

Hi! How is it going for you?? I just took another negative test today. I've been tracking my cycle with an app... AF should be here any day now, but I have had zero cramping. I keep getting migraines and a sensitive tummy..but nothing positive.
