Hi there ladies.

We lost a little girl at 18 weeks back in March last year. I had to deliver her naturally and I never tell my hubby this but the whole experience of that labour still haunts me. I think it was the fact that I had to push and go through contractions etc for a poor little baby that didnt make it into the world awake.

I am so grateful to be able to say that I am now over 36 weeks pregnant, and as excited as we both are I am dreading the labour/delivery, I am just so scared and anxious that this little one inside me is going to come out ok. I guess thats why my blood pressure goes higher than my normal after midwife starts the convo by saying "not long to go now" etc etc.

I know its me probably being irrational, but at the moment I'd be just happy having baby kicking about in me, responding to Mummy and Daddy's voice. At least I know that baby is ok when all that happens....

Sorry ladies, just had to have a little babble about it. If there is any advise or words of wisdom out there from you it would be amazing.

Sorry for your loss! I'm sure this little one will be ok, you've come so far since that horrible experience.

No words of wisdom I'm sorry, just want you to know we're all feeling the same things regarding our current pregnancies and we're all here for you.

You can do this and your little one will make you so happy when they arrive happily in the space of a few weeks :hugs: xx

:hugs:

Am sorry for the terrible situation you had last year -- would you consider a doula to help you/encourage you/support you during this labor? It is something that might give you that extra edge to relax a little..............?

best wishes
