37 weeks today!

I can't believe I've made it this far! No dilation as of last week, but I was hoping I wouldn't have to be induced!!! The boys are pretty small, as of last week 5lb and 4lb 7oz. We've all been healthy all along besides them being small, but the smallest is now in the 14th percentile so the Dr. is not too concerned. Can someone send me some magical labor inducing thoughts please, LOL

Hey hun I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Dont forget the weights are just estimates so they may actually be bigger. My boys were 5lb 8 and 4lb 13 at birth and they were perfectly healthy and we were sent home the next day so I'm sure you'll be fine! Sending you lots of labour dust

Good weights for twins hun - my friends were only 5 8 and 5 9 at 39wks, and yours are on course for being the same. Twins gain roughly 1/4Ib per week.

Are they letting you go past 38/39wks? Get active from 38wks onwards, that should dislodge the little monkeys

There has been talk of an induction at 38 weeks, but I don't have the best feelings about it..would rather it happen on it's own as long as everyone is healthy. Lost part of the plug yesterday, I know, TMI, but hey, I was excited! Hopefully it will be soon!

Plug loss great sign - mine went during early labour with my first. If babies are still growing at a normal rate for them, then you should be fine to wait. I would have been inclined to if twin 1 had been head down - tho with the size of them it probably wouldn't have been wise to go much beyond 38wks.
