39 weeks - no signs of labor?

Hey guys, well I'm 38 weeks and a few days but I'll be 39 weeks on Saturday and so far nothing has been happening.
I had 1 "menstral cramping/back pain" that lasted a minute, like 2 weeks ago and a few days after that had 3 contractions (False/Prelabor)... since then NADA!
The last few days I've been noticing a little more pressure and those sharp stabbing pains which I'm thinking is meaning he's dropping... but at the same time he's got his little feetsies right up under my bra strap line (yes, OW!) and it's still hard to breathe.
I'm not dilated - barely 50% effaced, and doctor said he was at the -2 station... This is my first baby and I've been wanting to do a natural birth - I know my body was made for this but why is nothing happening!?!?!

Not much here either. Second baby and full term on Sunday. Going for a long walk with hubs when he is home from work, then DTD tonight. Will go for anything these days!

I totally understand, been trying different things and it's like nothing is working!

i am 39 weeks on sunday, second baby and also nothing....a bit of backache, a couple of pains low down every now and then, no lost of plug or anything else. I really dont want to be overdue, as i cant have a waterbirth at midwife led unit then and would have to go to hospital, which i dont want at all... hopefully our babies will make an appearance between now and 40 weeks xx

You're not even 39 weeks...it'll happen. My body didn't show a single sign of labour. My DR couldn't even do a sweep after my due date as I was totally closed he said! lol. Then 2 days later I went into labour, my son was born the next day. It doesn't need to take a long time for your body to go into labour.

im due on saturday and not a single hint of a sign, im convinced he is going to be very late but dont want to be induced!!

I was due tuesday, been using EPO, RLT and birthing ball since 37 weeks, had a sweep today and still nothing. That's babies for ya!
