3rd babies?

I'm 38 + 2 with my 3rd baby and at my mw appt today he was head down but not engaged...not even a little bit. Should I worry? Didn't ask mw as I didn't read notes till after :-/ do 3rd babies engage later? I'm sure I read it somewhere? Help!!! X

hi hun the mw told me that after having at least one baby the chances of babys head engaging early isnt very common ......but is common for babys head to be come engaged closer to the birth ...and sometimes not until your in actual labour , so dont worry hun x

this is m 3rd too and i'm 37 weeks on saturday and he isn't engaged yet either

Don't worry, my two babies never engaged until my labor started... This is my third pregnancy and I'm not there yet but I wouldn't worry if this one didn't engage as well...
