Just announced my bfp few days ago.. Was 5 weeks exactly today but had a big bleed today passed some clots and tissue.. This would be my 3rd miscarriage this year.. Totally gutted! Got a scan booked for next Tuesday as went to epu yest as had dome spotting, strangely this time had no cramping. Waiting on some blood work results fir sticky blood syndrome possibly not have the results now till mid December. Attend the assisted conception unit as it took 9 months to acchiev any bfp..

hi im so sorry for your losses, i know exactly how your feeling i have had an ectopic pregnancy and four miscarriages which have all been round 4-5wks. I have had somes tests b4 and all came back ok, but after my most recent mc last month i am back at hospital on monday 4 more tests, bcos i beleive something must b wrong. I advise you to look up on the internet recurrent miscarriages and ask your doctor to refer you to a consultant if your blood test comes back ok, i hope your next pregnancy is ok xx

Thanks so much everyone, I've to go in for a scan on tuesday, but I already know the answer, also on that day I have an appointment to see my gp to try and look into it and fingers crossed that the experts will find an answer. I'm grateful in a way that it's only happened 5 weeks in, it must be so traumatic at 23 weeks muminhope..... to have all that hope and all those dreams pulled away from you like that...
I'm remaining positive and driven still to have a child...
Everything I find out I'll be sharing with you all, kowledge is power girls.

Oh chickadee I am so sorry :hugs:

Be an absolute pain in the ass with the doctors, it is sometimes the only way to get things done. I really hope that this may not be a miscarriage, it isn't unheard of for things to be ok despite what you have experienced :hugs: my thoughts are with you xxxx

sorry for your losses hun, at least now they will investigate.. have you been offered baby aspirin??

Hi girls,
I went for the scan on Monday, nothing there.
My hcg was 108 so I am going to go back in on Monday for a further hcg, just so that they can proprelly discharge me from there care..
I've been so tired this week and was very nauseated a few days ago., that I did a preg test though bfn.
going to enjoy xmas and new year and just forget about concieving for a few weeks..
I'll be back with a vengence in the new year though lol xxxxxxxxxxxxx

So sorry to hear. I am in the same boat with 3 early m/c at 5 wks this year. It is heartbreaking. My doctor referred me to a fertility specialist and she gave us a progesterone prescription. I had so much blood work done that all came back normal but she said low progesterone could still be our problem so I have to start taking it a few days after I ovulate and then test on the day I would have got my period to see if we are pregnant, if we are I keep taking it, and if not I would stop and then I would get my period.
I hope your doctor can give you some reassurance and offer some help.

Thankyou Croydon girl. I will be rooting for you. It's definately the same thing each time, I think. The fact that it happens so early on perhaps it is hormonal. I'm certainly learning lots on this site.
Wishing you lots of :dust::dust:

Hope you have a great Christmas and new year - my hubby and I just took a couple of months off from trying and it did us a world of good. More romance, and more enjoyable baby making for sure now we are back in business. Hope it's the same for you xx
