I am 4.5 weeks and today I found a hard lump in my right breast. It's not red on the outside. Everything online says swollen milk duct but isn't this too early for a swollen milk duct? Has anyone experienced this before? I don't go in for scan with my specialist until I'm about 6+2. I hope she will be able to check it out.
Thank you!

Could be a cyst. Mine swell up before AF every month. Yours could similarly be brought on by hormonal changes.

At the 8 week visit (at least where I'm at) my doctor does a pap smear and breast exam. Hopefully they do that where you are.

Thank you ladies! Ill be see a reproductive endocrinologist. I know she will examine my breasts. I was feeling it again last night and was feeling it move so that made me feel better. I don't know how often they do pap smears. My obgyn did one last january when I was pregnant

Dill, I see we are both 4+5! Pretty cool!! I don't have a scan until I'm about 6+2. They're scheduling it tomorrow as long as my hcg continues to rise nicely like it has been.

Isn't the wait awful? I don't have my appointment until the 30th. :(

I know, its nerve racking and I will feel so much more relieved once we see the baby and the heartbeat. its exciting and scary at the same time!!

Hubby isn't counting it as REALLY FOR SURESIES REAL until we see a heartbeat. Agreed that it is exciting and terrifying! We've been through so much to get to this point... I am praying that this will be a healthy and successful rainbow baby!

They're not even doing my blood test until that appointment at the end of the month. Boo!

I noticed a few lumps during pregnancies. The breast tissue/ducts change and is most probably nothing for you to worry about. Get checked to be on the safe side.

Thank you, ClaireJ23! That's reassuring, as I never felt lumps in my breasts before. It's hard but sometimes I feel that I can move it. I will have my RE check it out.
