4d scans

I have a private scan booked tomorrow where I will be 9 and a half weeks, I'm using a lovely place where I've been before the staff are fantastic. So anyway, when I booked my appointment the other day I had a chat with the lady over the phone and I asked her out of curiosity how early they do 4d scans and she said they start at 16 weeks but if you ask the sonogropher they will flick it over to 4d for a minute for you with no extra cost, it's not a problem in the slightest, she said I wouldn't see as much detail as late on in the pregnancy but it's nice to see.

So my question is, has anyone had a peek at baby in 4d in the first trimester? I saw a post on here a week or so ago with a 4d scan but I can't find it anywhere

I got a very short 4d shot at my 12 week scan. Not much to see but still pretty amazing! You'll love it
I can't wait for my 15 week scan, probably won't be that different, 4d wise, but still!

Can I be cheeky and ask if it was you who posted the picture? I've searched everywhere but cannot seem to find it. We are going to get a 16 week 4d gender reveal but I still think it would be pretty awesome to take a peek this early

9 weeks is still really early for gender, our doctor said he couldn't tell yet, by 16 weeks it's pretty visable! (we're team yellow for now though!)

No, we're not wanting to find out the gender tomorrow, we are going to book our 16 week scan while we are there tomorrow I can't wait!!

Yeah I'm super excited, I had an NHS scan yesterday but hubby missed it that's why we've booked this one i will update when I'm back

I saw a youtube video of a 3D or 4D (not sure) scan of a baby at 9 weeks. Super adorable. I would do it if I was in your position. You may be amazed!!

We have booked a gender scan at 16 weeks also, the lady said when we booked it they would switch it over to 4d just for a look.

With our daughter we had a 4d scan at 26 weeks and it was so amazing, can't wait to go again this time.
