Hi peeps
I've recently switched from BFing to FF. OH has managed to put babber to bed once but since then it's gone downhill! He will take his bottle OK but the next step of winding him and trying to put him down makes him scream and he is inconsolable until I go in and take over.
I know that it's because he's been used to me putting him to bed every night for 5 months. I've tried both leaving them to it and going in and being in the room but nope! I suggested to OH perhaps we try me putting him to bed but with him being in the room and then swap after a few days and me be there while OH puts him down and gradually leave the room earlier and earlier throughout the bedtime routine until LO is not fussed whether I'm there or not.
Does that sound feasible? Any other suggestions? Both me and OH are going away for one night in July so I want to know that he will go to bed OK without either of us but at the moment he's not even going down for his Dad!
