5 weeks and bleeding

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and started bleeding on Friday after noon with bright red blood, its Sunday and I'm still bleeding...haven't had any cramps and only seen 1 small clot. Is this a miscarriage? Anyone else ever have a miscarriage and no cramps or clots? I'm called the Dr. office Friday and they said I could be, and that all they could do is blood test to see because US wouldn't show anything. I thought for sure I was miscarrying so I didn't go in, but since I haven't passed any clots or had cramps, now I'm wondering...going to go in on Monday for blood work if I don't pass anything.

Awww I hope all is well, I've always heard that bright red blood and cramping together = miscarriage, however, I don't know if bright red blood is a good thing even by itself..I haven't had bleeding in either pregnancy so far, so I don't know :/ good luck

Possibly a subchorionic hematoma. I'm 6w&1d, and I had the same thing around 5 weeks, went to the ER and I was/ still am pregnant, I just had some bleeding in between my uterus and placenta. The bleeding was the "clot" bleeding itself out. It's somewhat common from what I understand.

I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma at 9 weeks after going to the er with bleeding and cramping... baby is fine and I am 11 weeks now... and still bleeding. It is more common than you think. Just get all checked out... sending good gibes your way.
