Hi ladies! I was curious if it's too early to have implantation bleeding at 5dpo? I went to the restroom this morning and had a couple tiny red spots and some brown cm when I wiped (sorry tmi). After two wipes nothing and haven't had anything else. Also have had light/dull cramping on my left side. If it is implantation around what dpo could I take an hpt? Thanks! :)

Its not too early. Many people will try and tell u is impossible but its very possible. All of our bodies work differently and at a different speed as does an egg moving through your tube. It can enter your uterus anywhere from 3dpo-14dpo. More commonly it happens right around 5-7dpo but with my son I know I implanted 4-5dpo because I had a positive by 7-8dpo :).
Id say around 9-10dpo would be the best time to use a frer or another extra sensitive test. Frer can pick up levels of less than 10 :). If u get a BFN on 9-10dpo, just test again 2 days later. I'm a addict when it comes to POAS so I start peein on sticks around 6-7dpo. I buy cheap sensitive ones online and I keep a frer around incase I think I see a line because if another test will pick up the levels, frer will. Good luck! It def sounds like IB! FX for you!! They say you can test 2 days after IB so if u want to test earlier, u could potentially get a positive at 7-8dpo. GL!

I had light pink blood and cramps yesterday at 4dpo - I was thinking it was too early for implantation though...

it could be, u never know! I actually just read something a few days ago that was written by a specialist saying that women can implant as early as 3dpo and that's why you see women who chart temps and everything still get bfps at 6dpo. I kno I def did around 4-5dpo because of my 7dpo bfp.

so both of you know, IB is actually not very common but its not a bad thing either. It can happen at the very beginning of implantation or at the end. There's many things that can cause a little bit of mid cycle spotting but while ttc, seeing a tiny bit of light blood in the tww can def be a potential sign. MANY people will try and tell u that it is completely impossible to implant before 6dpo but they're very wrong. But dont let this ever make u feel out too early because you of course can implant much later. If you type into Google about implantation cramps at 3 dpo, you'll probably find the article I was telling you about. You'll always find some negative nanacys saying it CANT happen but again, ignore that because its incorrect. I hope u are both experiencing early implantation!! FX very tight! :)
