As above really. My wee man is almost 6 months and have just got our sleep back to normal from the 4 and 5 month growth spurt, and guess what.... hes now wakening every hour again. I feel like i havent slept all night. And hes lying beside me now full of life and smiling away lol

Sorry, I cant help!!

I have never experienced any of theses so called growth spurts with Anna and she is 8 months now. Am lucky as we have had uninterrupted 11hr sleeps since she was around 12wks........teething is yet to begin though- bet that will be our nightmare!!:flower:

lucky you, lol. When jenson is being good hes very good and sleeps 12 hours but when hes sleeping bad he really is bad lol. Though he has two teeth through at the minute so unless its that too

I think there must be as Jacob started waking through the night hungry again at 6 months. He's definatley grown a lot in the last month too :). Didn't last very long though! x

Definitely, we had just got over the awful 4 month sleep regression and then 6 month growthspurt hit! I think it was probably the most brutal but we're out the other side now and down to a more manageable 2 night feeds which are slowly stretching... and she's started to sleep in longer than ever before randomly. :)

I also think there must be. Max's sleep has gotten worse since I started to wean him and he is awake every night (just once luckily). He was awake last night and 12.20am (went to bed at 7.30pm) and swallowed 7 ounces in his bottle.

He seems to be starving every night, this is despite me giving him 3 good meals during the day and 24 ounces of milk.

Has anyone else been through this and come out the other side? How long does it last? He was sleeping 9/10 hours straight through before that

kacey slept 12 hours everynight from 6 weeks to 20 weeks. I was so smug lol. Then 20 weeks hit and its been crazy ever since. She still has nights she sleeps 7-7. She has nights where she wakes and feeds 7-4 for milk. Then on till 7. Then nights like last night where she screamed 5 times in 2 hours. Sometimes she wakes at 5 or 6. There is no pattern. Some nights she may have 3 or 4 bad nights then a few good nights. Or she has 1 good and 1 bad. Im not sure if its teeth or growth or development. She is teething and growing and she is learning new. So who nos

It's weird isn't it? Max just learnt how to roll the other way the other day and he is not far off sitting unaided so I was wondering if it was part of the developmemtal leap, but he is so hungry when he wakes up as well.

When he was going 10 hours straight he would waken at 5am, take a bottle and go back to sleep until about 8am. It was bliss!

I guess its just their demand for starting/more solids isn't it. Maybe introduce some protein etc so that they're getting some fill, that allowed from 6 months isn't it?

I have been giving Max protein and quite big portions too but I think I might up them a bit today and see what happens. He will happily eat anything, which is good!
