Thanks for asking this as I was planning on asking the exact same question!

I went to a weaning clinic and the HV said that I shouldn't bother.... but wanted to find out from the Mum's here if they switched?

my lo stayed on stage one right up till cows milk at 12 months
i asked hv and she said there really no need if baby is still happy on the milk they are on
personal choice i guess but my lo was fine on stage 1
