6 week check

I went for my 6 week check today, and was talking to the doctor but she only offered me two types of contraception the progesterone only pill on the arm implant, of which I didn't want either, I wanted the Progestogen injection but she didn't offer this or any other type,
why do you think this could be?

are you over weight? I wasnt allowed the injection or the normal pill because im overweight. Im stuck with the mini pill because i didnt want an implant or the ones that go up your foof! X

No I'm not i'm in the normal weight range. so thats why i found it odd

If you're breastfeeding (which I see by your ticker you are) then not all types of contraception are suitable. Is the injection you're talking about a combination of progesterone and oestrogen? I don't think you can take oestrogen contraceptives while BF
