6 week scan because of brown spotting

I'm just back from the hospital after an early scan. I had some brown spotting last night and some lower backache, that's exactly how my first mc started so they scanned me and I'm measuring bang on 6 1/2 weeks and the heartbeat was visible. It was an abdominal scan too so I was surprised to see anything. Just so relieved and wanted to share a good news story for anyone having spotting.
